Racialized children in the community and the child-welfare system

Providing the grooming and care essentials too often missing for racialized children transitioning through the Children’s Aid Society.

Racialized children are sometimes placed with families who are unequipped to care for their specific grooming and personal-care needs. I Am Beautiful steps into that gap - making sure these children have what they need to feel cared for, confident, and seen.

Small, consistent care has an outsized effect on a child’s sense of dignity. This program makes those essentials a given, not an afterthought.
